The idea for Wonder Nannies was born in Paris, when founder Olga relocated from London and needed a nanny to take care of her son as she resumed work. Anxious after previous experiences with child carers, Olga felt she was compromising her baby’s wellbeing by going back to the office. When she met Imanta, she could not believe that nannies of that calibre existed — Imanta surpassed every expectation, the baby adored her and she quickly became a member of the family.
Soon after Olga knew that other expat families deserve to have the same experience and peace of mind that a competent nanny brings. She saw an opportunity to launch an agency and support expat families in creating a thriving home environment by providing nanny placement and household services. Together with Imanta, who has over 30 years of childcare experience with international families, a vast network and an eye for exceptional candidates, Olga’s mission is to find staff that families can entrust what’s most precious to them.
